Who is making the decision?

I think there is definitely something wrong here. Now the Syariah High Court ruled that Nyonya Tahir is a non-Muslim. Assuming that the ruling is accurate(we should respect, by right), then why a Syariah Court interferes a non-Muslim's affair?

The main issue here is, if the status of the decease is still in doubt, why Syariah court take over the case? It looks like nowadays the Syariah court is becoming more and more powerful. It could just interfere simply because a local religious affair officer suspect someone who is a muslim.

Our former Prime Minister Tun Mahathir also agree that we should review issues on Islam. But one thing that I don't agree to him is, he said: "Obviously, many people want this problem resolved and it is up to the Government to decide."

Why government? The amendment of the related Article in the Federal Constitution should not be done by the government. Please correct me if I'm wrong, as far as I know, the Parliament should go through the process of the amendment. And the members of the Parliament are the elected representatives from the rakyat.

So who is making the decision now? It's you! You are the one who pick the person to sit in the Parliament house. Please think carefully before vote.
