Selangor Boleh Again!

This is yet another event that distinguish Selangor, the "advanced state" in Malaysia different from others. Selangor has beat another National record: flood level of 1.1 meter at NKVE.

Early this morning, my sister who is living in Shah Alam reported to me that there was a heavy downpour last night. When she came out from her apartment, she found out the district was in grave condition. People are "drying" up their cars, some people said their neigbourhood was submerged into water above waist level.

We are not saying the problem of flood does not bothering other states in Malaysia. States like Terengganu, Kelantan and Kedah has been affected by flood issue every year because of the annual monsoon season. These are the things that could be weathered. But flash flood in a "advanced" township in Shah Alam often catches the city folk in surprise and there was no warning system to alert the people at all.

What are the root causes of these flash flood problems that hit the residence of Shah Alam, the road users of NKVE several times a year? Obviously the state government and the relevant authorities has not learned the lessons from the past similar occurence. The complaints of the victims had definitely been put into deaf ear by those "advanced state" management team! Is this the "Advanced state" wanted by our people?

State government, please do your home work first!
